Eric Lindblade joined the guide force in 2016. As of October 2018, he has given over 1000 tours of the Gettysburg Battlefield. He is quickly becoming a highly requested authority on the 26th North Carolina at Gettysburg. Eric was invited as the featured speaker at the 2018 Annual Conference of the American Civil War Round Table of the UK.
Andie Custer-Donahue is one of the few Calvary experts on the Gettysburg Guide force. Andie joined the guide force in 1998 and is working towards her 10,000th battlefield tour. Her 2 hour overview tour is outstanding; If you want to learn about the Cavalry action at Gettysburg, she is the guide to go to. Specialty tours include South Cavalry Field and Farnsworth's Charge; the coordination of the Union infantry and the Union Calvary in attack after Pickett's charge on July 3.
Jim Miller joined the guide force in 2011. He gives tours of the battlefield from segway to horseback. His overall knowledge of the battlefield really shines through on Private Car Tours with the one on one interaction with guests.
Dave Donahue joined the guide force in 2009. He is known for bringing his passion for the Gettysburg Battlefield to every tour. He prefers 3-4 hour car tours, noting he just has too much to tell visitors in just two hours.
In addition to living the dream as a Licensed Battlefield Guide (Joined 2018), Kevin Bryant is a Park Ranger at the Frederick Douglass National Historic Site in Washington DC. These two historic sites collectively add a wonderful breadth of knowledge from different points of view to this complex period of America’s Civil War. He has been a Park Ranger/Tour Guide at diverse historic sites since 2006, including Fort McHenry, Manassas, Maryland’s Oxon Cove Park, Ohio’s Kirtland Temple, and the Joseph Smith Historic Site in Nauvoo, Illinois. Kevin holds two Master’s Degrees: one in American History, the other in Religion. In addition to his love for history, Kevin spent 5 years as a full-time Pastor. Most importantly of all, he is a proud father and husband committed to immersing you into this epic story.
Joe Mieczkowski is a Civil War living historian and educator. Having received his Bachelor’s Degree from Salem College and his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University, he spent 37 years working with the Social Security Administration. Mieczkowski is a past president of the Gettysburg CWRT. He joined the licensed battlefield guide force for the Gettysburg National Military Park in 2007. He is the author of the book Lincoln and his Cabinet.
